It was like watching an live puppet animation, at least that was for me. It was very good.. A really great experience.. A very unique storytelling experience. I opted for the full cinematic camera because VR never makes me vomit.Very impressive visuals and audio. Although it's a non-interactive story... I certainly recommend it to anyone who likes to be immersed in VR storytelling.No performance issues on my 1070 + Ryzen 1700. I watched this on my HTC Vive.I certainly hope to see more stories presented in this way.. I have to say that was much better than I expected. It looked really good on the odyssey+ especially with the deep black levels. The story was very good, and the devs know how to optimized UE4 to look great in VR (tough to do sometimes) Please devs make another.. Finally! The very 1st, true VR Movie Story Telling Experience. Not a 360 video or a short stationary view into a virtual environment but a story presented through the power of VR using Cinematic techniques that bring you intimately into the world and characters. 5/5. As a filmmaker, I was intruiged by this game and it's push into VR as a storytelling platform. After all it was only $5.But alas, the writing is pretty flimsy and the graphics are very telltale-esque which isn't bad. Although, I feel like they didn't get the scale right. Viewing in VR, you feel like you are watching a mini-world rather than being in there with them. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not. I got about halfway through before I lost interest in the story although I do feel I need to finish it to get a good idea of the whole film.If you have $5 to spare and want a "eh" experience, go for it. If you're pinching your pennies, I'd recommend keeping your cash.. Honestly, I think some of the other reviews overhyped this title. It is a great VR experience though and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys seated cinematic VR experiences.The voice acting and sound design is good (not amazing), but it's good. The story is just okay, it's relatively simple so don't expect anything fantastic when it comes to the plot. I definitely enjoyed the 35 minutes watching it though and I think the price to value ratio is spot on in comparison to going to the movies for $12-$20 (depending on where you go).The hair and physics I felt were pretty good. The "villain" character was pretty awesome too. There is this moving black type liquid and it's just really cool looking.TLDR: Just buy it. You will enjoy it. It will make you want more experiences at this quality level or better!. Very ambitious concept with an attempt to demonstrate what cinematic VR films can be like. Good camera work, lighting and overall atmosphere. But notable its weakest link was in the many opportunities missed in expressing emotion in the characters facial animation. Early scenes suffered from feet clipping into the ground as well. A good soundtrack but again voice acting felt a bit lack lustre. I felt moments that were meant to have strong impact did not resonate with me because of the voice acting and facial animation. Overall I enjoyed it and would like to see more of this content in the future.. Enjoyed on a Vive Pro in Movie mode.This animated short really lifts the bar for seated VR experiences. Right from the opening scene the quality just oozes. Visuals, sounds, and voice acting are all exceptional.I can't imagine this not deserving a place in every VR library.I'll put my one dispointment hidden in spolier tags.... My main driver for purchase was a story by Philip K.♥♥♥♥♥♥ and while I did enjoy it, I found the story a little disappointing because it's basically The Wizard of Oz without some characters.
